On a Hill called Golgotha there was raised a jagged, rugged splinter filled, mean beam called the cross and attached to that cross the battered, beaten, mutilated and tormented fragment of a human body we call the King of Kings, Jesus Son of God! He hangs there arms stretched so far that the ligaments and Joints are pulled out of socket and nails through his hands and feet pressing upward to gain just a breath or air into his worn out painfully warm and exhausted lungs under the weight of every sin and transgression and iniquity that ever was and is and is to come, felt the separation from His Father for the first time ever in his Existence, but this wasn’t all he had endured you see before the cross he was falsely accused and sentenced to a beating so unbelievable and the mockery, the torment and the ripping away of the flesh as they beat him and whipped him with the cat of 9 tails then he was force to carry his cross and suffer even more shame and despair. Vivid?… Yes! Gory?… you bet! But Why? ….. For YOU!!!
You see we don’t talk about what happened on that day and the price He Had and Chose to pay! Because it hurts us and causes pain, regret and despair and those are uncomfortable things to bear so we have removed the words from our ear so we don’t have to hear and we don’t have to endure, but I ask you today did He do all that He did on Calvary in vain? Are we to just throw it all away? I say we run through the streets proclaiming that price he paid, for our discomfort pales in comparison to the agony he felt that day! All the price was Paid so we could be together and reunited again, we get to walk freely in His presence now, we don’t need a ticket, for his blood paid it all! This is a Day that Can never be forgotten it is a day that we must hold dear to us even still today, sharing the same love that he shared that day!
the key word and name ‘Adam’ (Adam, man) and the word that is directly related to it a•da•ma (earth, soil, ground). These two words sound almost identical except for the ‘ah’ sound at the end of the word a•da•ma. The close connection is laid out in the biblical description of what man was made of:
“Then the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person.”
We present the third link in this amazing chain: ‘dam’ (blood). Blood, an essence of human life, in its Hebrew form is built into the name Adam, further solidifying and strengthening the biblical story of creation in a way you won’t find in any other language on earth.
Note that the word blood in plural (da•mim) is also the word for money, payment, or retribution. The Bible recognizes the connection between the two by relating money to livelihood. And, indeed, money is a means of securing the necessities of life. You don’t need much of an imagination to reflect on how much blood has been spilled over money throughout history.
noun: blood; noun: Blood
1. the red liquid that circulates in the arteries and veins of humans and other vertebrate animals, carrying oxygen to and carbon dioxide from the tissues of the body. “drops of blood” synonyms: plasma, vital fluid, gore; literarylifeblood, ichor “he had lost too much blood” o an internal bodily fluid, not necessarily red, that performs a similar function in invertebrates.
2. violence involving bloodshed. “a commando operation full of blood and danger”
3. temperament or disposition, especially when passionate. “a ritual that fires up his blood”
4. family background; descent or lineage.
“for the life of the body is in its blood. I have given you the blood on the altar to purify you, making you right with the LORD. It is the blood, given in exchange for a life, that makes purification possible.”
“Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow”
In Psalms David wrote wash me with Hyssop a super strong cleaning agent from the day old testament pre Jesus …. But in
“and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who [a]loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,”
Jesus washes us with his blood so as we gain the transfusion of Christ we take on the true power of His blood, DNA and everything His blood says about us.. that’s why as we grow our DNA and signatures change. More on DNA and signatures at a later time.
My debt is paid, once and for all
“So Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.”
We see here that Jesus was offered as the one time payment the final payment His blood became the currency used to settle the Sin debt for us! Our blood was never going to meet the standards set forth by God because our blood had became tainted with sin. So God had to send His Son who knew no sin to become that spotless lamb (sacrifice) and Jesus’ blood was the only currency needed to pay the debt in full. I will give more scriptures to make this point even more clear as we progress through this study.
“ For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
How did Jesus become sin when He knew no sin? for this answer we have to go back to the Old Testament process of atonement and sacrifice God had set it up that the High priest would take a “pure, clean” animals he would pray a prayer in which he laid his hands upon the animal signifying transfer of the sin onto the animal it would then be sacrificed and the blood used for atonement. This was just a shadowing of the happenings at the Cross. Jesus became our High Priest God placed the Sin of the whole world upon Him and for the first time ever Jesus felt the separation from His Father that is why He cried from the Cross
“ Around the ninth hour, Jesus shouted in a loud voice, saying “Eli Eli lama sabachthani?” which is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
God hadn’t forsaken Jesus but He felt as though His Father had left Him because of the separation of the sin that Had been placed upon Him. What Jesus said while on the cross has major insights to the Spiritual things that were taking place. “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they are doing” while most commonly this is accepted to mean the forgiveness of the soldiers and people involved with His crucifixion and this is true but He was also atoning and beginning His work as our advocate with the Father. Another saying from the cross “Father, into your hands I commend my spirit” this is the last recorded statement on the cross and it fulfilled the prophecy that “No man would take His life but rather I lay it down”. Second to the last saying on the cross “It is finished” Jesus was declaring the atonement and the price of Sin had been paid.
“Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”
“Jesus said, “It is finished.”
“And speaking in a loud voice, Jesus said, “Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.”
“No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.”
I am justified and forgiven.
Here we see a few points that I hope to bring out quickly. First I have already used a few legal terms discussing the blood. We must understand just as there is a legal system and courtrooms here on Earth there are legal systems and courts in Heaven. (to understand more on the Courts of Heaven Click Here ) Justified and advocate are the legal terms that I am referencing I will do a quick explanation on advocate and get into the meat of Justified. Does your testimony in Heaven line up with the testimony of Jesus’ blood? His Blood speaks and our blood speaks do they have the same testimony in the courts of heaven?
Revelation 12:9-11 King James Version (KJV)
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
1 John 2:1 King James Version (KJV) My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
We have an Accuser (kategoros): a prosecutor, accuser Satan
We have an Advocate (paraklétos): called to one’s aid Jesus
Jesus’ blood speaks out on behalf of us, as the Accuser is attempting to build a case against you, the bloods testimony is the winning defense. Align your testimony’s allow your blood to transfuse with His blood!
1. having, done for, or marked by a good or legitimate reason. “the doctors were justified in treating her”
2. THEOLOGY declared or made righteous in the sight of God.
“Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.”
We have been Justified and made in right standing or made righteous with God the Father through the price that Jesus paid on the cross. Think about it along these lines, We had a 1 billion dollar bond in the courts as our sentence and we could never pay that fine or bond but Jesus stepped up and said I will cover it, so once the Bond had been paid things were in right standing with the courts and you were free to go. In the same manner Justification leads us to our next point.
I am free no more bondage
“Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.”
“Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”
““There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” ”
Jesus testifies on my behalf that I am clean
“…and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”
As we see from above that Christ’s blood gave us cleansing and washing, it also gave us a testimony and allows us to team up with our advocate in the courts of heaven to overcome and defeat the accuser. then blood of Jesus Paid our debt and bond if you will to make us in right standing with the courts and God the Father. We no longer have to stay shackled and bound to the things His blood has done and paid for us.
“9 Then the Lord said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?” He said, “I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?” 10 And He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground.”
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
We are designed and wired by DNA and chromosomes and those have signatures on them We were created in the image of God “Let us make man in our image” Genesis 1:26 as He formed us we were genetically wired to have signatures on our DNA that affect how we function our habbits our personality our thoughts its all there we pull these things. I am not going to go to deep into this but I wanted to lay out just a general understanding hopefully in the near future I can lay out a study on the DNA and signatures.
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
Adopts Us (Sons and Daughters) Makes us Joint Heirs
“and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.”
“having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,”
Jesus’ blood gives us the same authority and linage, bloodline of Himself, allowing us to be joint heirs with Jesus and full access to the Kingdom of Heaven.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.”
Access to the Holy of Holies God’s presence without fear but rather boldness!
“Therefore, brethren, having boldness[a] to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,”
Heals Us Spiritually and Physically
“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”
“who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose [a]stripes you were healed.”
We are given complete and total healing and Peace in the Body, Soul and Spirit. The chastisement of our peace was upon him we are made whole and holy.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
